Meeting with general (ret) Elias Salim Farhat, Information and Public Relations director of the Lebanese Army (1996-2005)

On October 4, Dagestan, Makhachkala, director of the project «Middle East — North Caucasus: cultural politics in strengthening of inter-ethnic and interreligious peace» Mikhail Chernov met met with general (ret) Elias Salim Farhat, Information and Public Relations director of the Lebanese Army (1996-2005). Mikhail Chernov told Gen. Zahid about the international project. The parties exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East. The meeting was held on the margins of the V International Scientific and Practical Conference «Countering Extremism and Terrorism in the Digital World».
